I agree, we need rankings. Even if they just say Ghosthead. Except for GBN, I have never been on a message board where rank caused problems. As it is, we're all new here again. Its not like one member will have 800 posts and another will have 100 lets say.

Besides its not the number of posts you have, but the quality.

Rankings caused major problems at gbn. Spamming was one of the biggest issues involved with rankings. I agree with Chad when he said rankings are not needed because all members should be viewed as equal. We, like Chad will always be open to everything but in this case I dont think rankings are good for the community.

The Rebelscum.com forums have ranks… pretty cool too. They are setup to look like the rank pins on the Imperial Officer uniforms. As cool as it is, it also makes for a lot more spammy posts. I say we shouldn't have ranks.

I used to have ranks on MFN, and don't anymore. They can be cool, but also cause people to spam.

Exactly, the old ranks on GBN caused alot more one word posts and posts that didnt mean anything, people just saying I agree or yes ect, just to climb in rank.
