Well, Jar Jar set aside- it does seem to have everything going for it. Great new characters, great new planets/settings, snappy and punchy dialogue, Natalie Portman-Benjamin showing she can kick some ass too…


Now if only I were so confident about Spiderman.

Here's what I'll say about Mace Windu.

He should have his name changed, to:

Shaft Windu.

Mace has attitude in this movie! Have you seen the one commercial where he's holding his lightsaber, saying, “The party's over.” Jeez, Mace is ready to kick some clone behind in this film.

It's gonna be awesome, I know it.

Mace is definately my favorite Star Wars character of all time, and I haven't even seen him in action yet!

Mace Windu + Yoda + Obi Wan and Anakin + Natalie Portman-Benjamin kicking ass= Star Wars is back.


Also, advance tickets go on sale friday at most theater chains, so if your theater will be getting the new flick, chances are they'll start posting signs starting today advertising buying those tickets early!

More reinforcements to fuel to the Netmeister's excitement. Dialogue's sounding better, more fluid. Still a little ADR work needed but it's sounding, looking, and feeling like Star Wars (I haven't attempted to eat it yet… though, the thought actually has occured to me). Wait, did I just type that for public display? Heheheh.

Yes, I think SW fans will have the ball back from the kiddie pool. I mean, Episode 1 was one big kid movie. Don't get me wrong, its a great movie, but its main purpose was to attarct the younger audience.

Thats why Jar Jar will be in it for a small role this time around, to keep the kids, but at the same time, give them a movie to grow up with.

I'm so-liking the hype this time around, subtle, yet, everywhere. Everywhere I go. Not everywhere I look. Like, it's all over SW fan based sites. (TheForce.net), but its not all over the market. It's not on my soda, it's not on my toothpaste, you see my point.

Lucas was a little rusty for episode 1. Been awhile since he directed anything. But I feel confident The Man has got back his directrial edge, and we shall see Star Wars for what it is worth.

Doing prequels at the same time gave a chance to get to know the masters from the orginal. Like Obi-Wan and Yoda. Yoda in his prime (maybe?) and kicking some major clone will be great. Can't wait to see him use Force powers more than anything. I also am awaiting the fact that more old-school SW elements are seeping thier way back to the movies.

What can I say, this movie will be absoultly great.

Granted Jar Jar Binks is really annoying but, um ,seriously but he didn't ruin the movie. I wish people would get over it, at least George Lucas learns from his mistakes.

Not much on the table today, except I heard Celebration II was a complete success.

Anyone get a chance to play the new SW:TCG yet? I've read the rules and such and it doesn't sound half-bad, much easier to understand than the SW:CCG. Don't get me wrong, I usta love the SW:CCG, but lack of players, I had to drop it. (My carbon-freeze deck is still undeafted around here )
