down on the link below is my new lady, a ‘70 Volkswagen Squareback with a Type3 engine, a rare one. I’m thinking of converting it into an ecto-mobile by placing one of those racks on the top that people use to put all their luggage and placing all the appropriate Ecto-props on it. It wont look much like the one in the movie, my siren-light will probably be a blue one from those old cop shows that i can stick on the left side and i'm keeping the red color.
this is all of course, if i finish my proton pack hehe :-D

dude, i wouldn't do it for 2 reasons

1. that's a sweet car
2. if you're not gonna make a total conversion, you might as well not

i have a toyota matrix that i painted it up to honor the original ecto. I didn't want to put stuff on the roof because i have to use it for work and all that. But i have always loved the styling of the original ecto and wanted the same red stripe on my car.
I also have hawaii plates on it that say ECTO.
I say do what your heart tells you to do. Its what makes you happy that counts.
