The Ghostbusters vs Vampires

Forgive me if this has already been posted, but I had a talk with a friend of mine the other day and he is a big big Buffy fan. Hes really into vampires and different things like that. Me, being me, I always joke with him about how the Ghostbusters would just hit the vampires with the proton streams and it would be game over. I only joke I dont really know what would have happen, so because I pissed him off by saying that one to many times I want to know what would happen in a fight between the Ghostbusters and Vampires. Now I dont really know much about vampires, but I do know that there is different types, and honestly please use any type of vampire you want. I know theres dracula, then theres Josh Weldons Vampires. And everything in between. So go for it, what do you guys think.

From what I understand, the vampires can heal, so after they would get hit by the streams they could just heal them selfs. Thats what I think so they would have to get rid of them with either holy water or a stake to the heart. HAHA and I just found this.

So go for it sorry that I dont know too much about vampires but its fun to get my friend pissed off at me hahaha

The Ghostbusters would win definitely.

The proton streams just burn through everything that isn't made of negative energy. If it hit the vampire, it would surely disintegrate them. Even if the vampire managed to survive, it would be extremely hurt and wouldn't be able to get very far before they catch up to it and finish it off.

Like Egon said “All molecules in your body exploding at the speed of light.” Of course this is for the protonic reversal, but no doubt it works the same way if you hot another human being of sorts.

And if you count the cartoons, in the episode “Noone Comes to Lupusville” Ray was able to modify the proton packs to emit a beam that mimicked the frequency of sunlight that inflicts aggravated damage on a vampire (the kind that they can't heal as fast). In a simple “gang up and blast him” fight, the Ghostbusters would win.

Of course, some vampires are rather crafty, and wouldn't get into one of those “gang up and blast him” fights if they could possibly help it. Worse would be the more modern vampires, who are complete wimps but could dazzle their enemies by sparkling at them.:-)

The busters dealt with a vampire in the comics once to(One of the UK ones) They managed to defeat it by crossing the streams, mimicking the shape of a cross and exposing it to Slimer's bad breath that he had gotten after eating garlic pizza.

I would be very disappointed if you don't write a more significantly biting remark about Twilight in the future.

I mean, sparkling vampires? Stoker would be rolling in his grave.

Never saw that movie, guess I made a good decision by avoiding it. When it comes to vampire movies I prefer the more evil and monstrous kind which you don't see that much of in recent movies.
