I remember watching this program back in 1989. It was screened on Childrens ITV and was presented by Rolf Harris as a kind of Rolfs Cartoon Club special where Rolf travelled to DIC to find out how the real Ghostbusters was made.

The show was a one-off special entitled “Slimer wont do that”. It was only screened once and is extremely rare, or should I say, was extremely rare as it it is now finally on the net and available to download.

This 20 minute show which was screened in 89 is however only part of the full show which was only available by ordering thhe VHS tape via postal order. I know this because I clearly remember ITV giving out this information at the end of the show and remember being really upset after failing to take down the postal address in time.

Anyway, it's kind of strange and unfortunate timing that this rare show has finally been found, what with the game and all. I'm pretty sure this'll go largely unnoticed. Any other time and this news would be big, but hey.

I dunno, you wait ages for something exiting of Ghostbusters to appear, then two come along at once!

I still can't get over how Dan thinks the cartoon version of Egon looks more like him than Peter does. Heh.
