I was just thinking of something. Has anyone OTHER than Egon even used PKE in the films? I am struggling to think of any scene where someone other than him was using it…

I believe that's it. The Ecto Goggles wound up being more universally used by the team then the PKE.

However when RGB and XGB are concerned, pretty much everyone used them at one point or another.

I've got another question:
Egon, in GB1, uses a little grey box before they try to “catch” the Library ghost and when they're fighting Gozer. Any idea of what it could be?

Surprisingly, it almost looks like a financial calculator. Maybe that's how he figured out Slimer was worth $5,000?

Didn't they say somewhere when they filmed GB1 that they had filmed all of them using the PKE but it only looked believable when Egon used it?

I think he was guessing on that…but ya…it does look like a paper feed calculator doesn't it…
