the worst effect

no one even mentioned that the sfx dept had VERY little time to do the effects. i think the movie was made in like under 12 months.

I thought the effects were very good except for the first time they shoot at gozer and she jumps and somersaults in the air. thats the only strange looking bit i think

the stop motion is dodgy and
“herky-jerky”. Now, I do stop-motion, and for a short scene like that, it would only an hour or two at most with one or two animators. granted, it must've been tough having them in sync with the cars in the back ground.

Yeah the terror dog was the worst among a movie of great effects. But It was still good especially the way it worked with the actors.
