TV-Turnoff Week

Hey everybody, if you didn't know, we're in the middle of TV-Turnoff Week. This week, every day this week until Sunday, people turn off their TV sets and appreciate other things in life - such as reading and getting some fresh air outside. It's not too bad and it might even increase appreciation for the world around, if only for a week. At least it has for me.

Or for those of us in college that rarely have time to watch TV it's Wednesday.

Screw that. It's 30 degrees outside and windy. Plus the nba playoffs started.

My feelings exactly.. (well minus the Playoffs..) I haven't watched TV in a long time anyways.. I've been too busy working on the GBPA! (Coming Soon) smile

That's funny because it's so darn true. Now if only they could make PC-turnoff week.

lol!
Turn off the TV when my friend has cable and there's a Batman marathon coming up on TVland?
I hardly even turn my TV on cause I'm watching hers for 3-4 hours a day, I LOVE cartoons.
Appreciating the other things in life? I hate the outdoors, all those things that can bite and sting you, ugh! Now books, I can do, as soon as I pay on my library card…..at least there's only the all you can carry limit on books!

If we had PC-turn-off week we wouldn't be able to tell other Ghostheads to do it, would we? It's just like when they annouce power-outages on TV.
