TWO new GhosBusters games in development.

I counted 6 games being made, 7 if you count Ghostbusters 2.

I went to the web site for Ghostbusters 2 but it seems it was a misprint and he is actually making 2 other games for the contest. Robocop 2D 3 and Superkid Returns.

There have been numerous alterations since I first started this thread, including entrants changing their minds about the games they are making - Ecks was a case in point (he and his brother are a great double act and have created some good games, based on movies and other remakes).

At one point there were 8 remakes mentioned - this figured has now been trimmed, although it really does look like there will only be one completed for the comp (Smila & Scottige's version). However, if you want one to be completed, it is their version

is that from the first NES version or is this gonna be the “new” ghostbusters 2 for NES….i never got that far in either they were very difficult

It's based on the 8 and 16bit computer versions (which the NES was based on). It was a tricky game, but this version is reportedly easier.

It's based on the Amstrad version. Easier? People have said it's harder, mainly casue the first level is the LONGEST in the game. It's only got 4 levels as I heard it.

The remake is supposedly easier, not the original game - which was incredibly tough. It was indeed multi-part. I owned the Amstrad version and I can't remember ever beating the walking Statue of Liberty stage.
