I am actually glad that GB:TVG doesn't include Weaver. Don't you think it would be a little bit lame that another paranormal experience happened to the same woman again?

I thought that once in the second movie.

Having her in the game wouldn't necessarily mean she would be the one under attack again though. If they went that route without explaining it in some way (that Dana is like a magnet for supernatural activitiy for some reason or something) I would be really disappointed too.

For continuity's sake, Dana should at least be mentioned. Even a throwaway line like Venkman going “Well, at least when I tell Dana I missed Oscar's party because I was saving the world again, she'll believe it.”

Well, hopefully there will be a sequel from all of this interactive awesome, and what of poor Oscar? The kid's named after a hot dog, and he's not even in the game!

I'm kidding about the latter part, but hopefully a second game will rein Weaver and Moranis in.

The story about Weaver not being in the game was featured on Yahoo!'s front page today, I'd say around 3:30 PM EST USA. Went to Yahoo.com and it was first featured story. Now it's 4 PM and it's like the second or third one and you have to click on it.

Any publicity the game gets is good! And being on Yahoo!'s main page is great publicity1
