To cut a long answer short, nothing. Though I have a feeling i know why Bill Murray hasn't agreed to do a third Ghostbusters movie. I think the reason is quite simply that he hasn't yet NEEDED to. Ever since Ghostbusters 2 murray has never been out of work. He's always had one movie lined up after another. What I'm saying is that I think Murray regards Ghostbusters 3 as his safety net. He knows the popularity of the francise and he knows that it can make alot of money. Lets say that the offers for Murray, all of a sudden stopped coming in. He'd still have Ghostbusters to fall back on.

The only thing we can do, if we reaaaaaly want that trilogy, (and if the industry agree to share their studios for the last part of what once was a blockbuster and a masterpiece that made lots influence) is to reach all the Ghostbusters fans in the world on the internet. We need a legal petition that will receive the name of each fans and each of them will include a small donnation. A dollar at least. If a fan wants to give more, good! It cost at least a million $ do a movie. A small budget can do a great final if the script is at its best. That script need to be the end of all paranormal activities and then, sadly but good for the humanity, the end of the need to have ghostbusters working in town. So a script where normal life return at the end of the movie.

After that, we send a letter to the movie industry. Saying: “Do the movie, we pay the fees and we want nothing in return. No copyright and no money in return from the boxoffice”. We dont need to have the original GB in it. If some of them wants to be a part of it as an old teacher in the company, great! But it can also be a thing from the past and new gbs are working in town.

Now the only question is: How we'll do it and who will manage the cash???
Maybe an account directly in the movie industry can secure the thing..,

Hey, Im serious. Im surprised not much people answered to that. Come on. Imagine. An email to Dan and Harold informing them about our project. They give the news to Acces Hollywood. Acces Hollywood spread the news on tv. Dan and Harrold makes a ‘'GBFans account’' in the movie industry. The movie industry give a legal adress so the GbFans can leave their donnation. The News is made, the web adress is in the movie industry (and we can also send our donnation by ordinary mail), links to the website are made from other site like Access Hollywood and others.

There's more than a million gbfans around the world and people who would love to participate in a fan-movie-making-project. One million people gives, each, ONE DOLLAR -1$- and we got a million! You can give more and the more the better. Myself, I wont send something like 20$ on my side. I want that GB3 movie!

Like I said, we dont realy need the original characters in the third movie. But they can still be in it as teachers (and/or fighters) of the paranormal in a world where each big town would have their own “firehouse”…

When the project money is complete. The movie industry works with Dan and Harold to do the movie and at the end we got what we deserve! And of course we, the fans, will not receive anything in return. No money at all. Nothing but Ghostbusters3. A story where the boys in grey will finaly terminate all paranormal activities on Earth. So it better be a good 2hrs script.

Now its up to you. Do you want Ghostbusters3 or not?
