For some people this may sound like a stupid question but to me it is not. I would like to know what Resign is and where to get it and how to make molds for it. I think this would make my pack look better so please respond. Thanks.

Resin.

Resin is a casting technique. I requires a mold, and many things. It cannot help your pack, unless you want to make many copies. But even then, it isn't good, and fiberglass would be better.

You will need to make a silicon RTV mold, and then pour resin in to make a copy. You really shouldn't ask me, as I've never done anything with resin.

Try Magic-Sculp Black Resin. It's a great product, you can push it into latex molds or you can shape it free hand. it's really great stuff, it comes in a few different colors but for the pack black is the best. anyways, it handles like clay, but it dries a black, semi-glossy durable resin.

As for mold making, you need some roma plastalina clay to carve an original (the medium hardness is good) and some moulding latex. also, when you get the resin, be sure to order a mold release spray with it.
