That's a comics staple that, I believe, should be followed in the Ghostbusters case as well.

All four of the GB looking straight at the reader with their proton guns in their hands, ready to fire. And the famous no ghost logo in the background.

Sara is right the Ghostbusters aren't Super Heros and they aren't like most comics, people are lookign for Super Hero Comics. Think about it, Honestly, What would catch your idea a big NO GHOST Symbol or the guys?

BUT! If your just someone in Hot Topic looking for some skimpy clothes or what have you, the Ghostbusters logo would stand out more then the guys.

It's hard to decide about the cover, between having the No-Ghost Logo alone, the Ghostbusters, themselves alone, or the Ghostbusters with the No-Ghost Logo in the background.
They're not Superheroes. They're Slimed Heroes!
Actually, they're not just Janitors. They're Scientists. Doctors with Degrees. They eventually became “Paranormal Janitors”, but they were still Scientists. It takes Scientists to start the Ghostbusters' business. But those Scientists can easily become “Paranormal Janitors”.

Orko has a good idea. The angle could have the reader looking down upon the guys with their proton guns pointed up with smoke pouring out of the barrels with the logo behind them.

Though a shiny red logo would be cool, like the heart background on the Buffy/Angel Valentines special.

The answer to this entire problem of what should be on the first cover is:
(drumroll…………….cymbal crash!)
ALL OF ‘EM!!
Variant covers, people! GEN13 had thirteen different covers for their first issue, so why should the Boys in Grey be any different? We could have the no-ghost logo, the Sillouette (sp?) of the guys, the group shot, the ready for action group shot, and whatever else we could think of.
As a comic fan, I wonder why this hasn’t popped up before?

heres what i do black cover with ghostbusters logo that glows in the dark make a special exclusive one black polybagged with a patch stickers etc.Glow in the dark is cool

here is what i would like to see.
1) Greyish background
2) Large Gb logo
3)Under logo we see the outline of four dark figures(the boys)
Can you picture , because I can. However i really like the idea of just the logo on a black background. But anyhting will do.
