Who here found Ghostbusters funny the first time that they saw it?

I actually found it to be an action type film! i saw no comedy till a few years later (i was young!) when my mama pointed it out to me. damn huh? im gone.

When i first saw it i found it interesting.I remember thinking regular people could put a backback on and use a gun to capture ghost I gotta try this. when i 11 was the 1st time i thought it was funny when they said “lets split up ”.“yeah we can do more damage that way”. Its probably the easiest joke in the movie to under stand

As I was only little when I first saw it (born in '84) I always thought the film was based on the cartoon (which is why I always wondered why they all had dark hair, and Winston had a moustache). At the time I had no idea it was a comedy, and I only discovered that it was about 5 years ago…

It took me a few years until I understood the jokes. In fact it scared the crap out of me when I first saw it, but that didn't keep from watching it over and over again.

I was too young to understand the jokes back in '84, but a few years later I got most of them. Still the funniest movie of all time…
