I saw that too batman, and am sorry to hear it. I think somewhere it mentioned that “smaller” orders would be shipped in bags. What constitutes a “smaller” order? 1 figure? 2 figures? more? With how much we are paying for these figures AND for shipping, they should at least put all orders into boxes. I know there are a lot of MOC collectors out there (of which I am one) and if my figures comes with dents or scratches or the like, you better believe I will be contacting them for another one.

Ordered my Louis figure, must've been three minutes turn around, possibly the quickest yet.

I'm not a fan of the news they're going to be changing to bags, at least with boxes it felt the cost of the figure was justified by the sturdy packaging protecting the plastic pack.

Also higher chance of the packaging getting squashed/damaged especially to those of us outside of the US

I'm not sure if this has been reported here, but on the Matty forums they are saying that DR will now be shipping the figures in Jiffy bags instead of boxes.
Considering that you usually get a dent when packed in a sturdy box, it makes me shudder to think what the condition of the item will be when it arrives this time.

Where did read it? I saw it pop up randomly in a thread and someone said he thought he heard figures being sent in bubble wrap.

I am not sure exactly where this is coming from… I searched the forums and didn't see anything specific about packaging changing, I could be wrong?

Your January figure order appears under the date you bought the Club Ecto-1 subscription last summer. That's how it appears on my order history now. I had to use the order look up option with the order # from the e-mail I got last week to keep track of the current order.

Courtroom Venkman isn't on my order history at all; the last order I have listed is November's Proton Stream Venkman.

I got the response to my query today, and it's not what I wanted to hear. Apparently, thanks to my change of physical and email addresses, they can't find any record of my subscription. This is odd, given CR Pete came automatically.

I wrote back, explaining all this. I also mentioned that I'd hate to stop being their customer (that sort of thing scares the $#!+ outta businesses).

I find myself wondering if I should go ahead and order Louis just to be sure.

Bugger it. I ordered Louis anyway. I'll deal with the consequences later. (Of course, given my track record, the “consequences” will jam me up financially. Always do. If there's a way to get screwed for getting screwed, I'll find it.)
