I think this comment sums up my feelings about the Club Ecto Exclusive MM Ray.

I really really hate this figure. I thought it was going to be awesome with the first couple pics shown. But (deep breath…) what's up with the horribly applied marshmallow, the tiny pke goggles that don't even match up to his eyes, the walkie talkie doesn't even go into his belt (this ticked me off more than the pke goggle because I actually thought they tooled an all new belt that would accomodate the walkie talkie but no!) the cord on his belt that's way, way, WAY too thick, the need for a glow in the dark proton stream when how can he blast a ghost when he's holding his walkie talkie and not able to see through his goggles!?!?! Total crap. Sorry, just venting. When I opened this box I wanted to throw it away. Maybe it will sell well on ebay some day.

but,i was trying to get as “realistic” as possible as to what Mattel will do….i WOULD expect to see suit and tie (non proto pack) versions of Egon,Ray,and Peter at some point,just because they already got the suit and tie molds for them from The Dark Knight line,and that's money saved for them right there…

Um… he doesn't HAVE to hold his walkie talkie… and the goggles are freakin plastic. He couldn't see through them even if they were a little bit bigger because its FREAKIN toy.

I know its not your review batman2, but damn… that's just sad by the end of it.

I read it as him critiquing the size of the Goggles, as not being correctly proportioned to where the figures eyes would be in relation to the lenses.

The point remains, the entire thing is plastic. He couldn't “see” through them anyway.

I understand both points of view, we´re paying for some quality figures… but come on, those are toys, and the goggles are real tiny to make them so accurate.

Who you gonna call? “Ghostbusters!” i always love this series. :)

I wasn't overwhelmed when I heard about or saw the MM Ray figure. That being said, I'm not going to bash it like so many people have been out the gate.

I'm taking the same stance that I did when this line first came out, while Matty may be screwing up some of the details, they're STILL giving us a damn line of GB figures. I know people will argue the whole semantics of “giving” and I congratulate anyone who will waste the time of picking apart that usage but I'm sticking with it.

Even though $20.00 is a hefty tag for a figure, it's not like we have any better options. I'm still just happy getting this line in the first place, and some of the complaints (not enough actual marshmellow, crappy accessories, small ecto-goggles) pale in comparison to the other alternative… which is … well not having the line at all.

I'm happy just having the opportunity to collect them, and if people want to complain then you have the chance to save your money.
