In this vacuum hypothetical - I voted for the super detailed 120 figures. If Mattel could make great figs of Hot Toys quality, I'd pay 120 each for them - but that being said, I don't know if mattel could pull off the quality to actually make me put down that much money on one.

I also voted for the $120 Higher detailed models, as someone who collects Hot Toys figures I can easily spend $200-$300 per figure, so $120 is just a major bargain if Matty can supply the Quality.

I really like the 12 inch GBs that I have, but there's no denying that there is a quality difference between them and the pictures Batman posted. (Great collection by the way!) If Mattel could do that - I'd be all for 120 a piece.

Has anyone else seen that on the Matty site they are now asking if you want more Standard 12“ figures for $60 or if you would prefer Detailed, super high quality 12” figures for $120.

I spotted this but didn't post as I wasn't sure it would be relevant or not here, but glad to see you did! As someone who didn't buy the GB's first time around and with the current resale value i'd happily pay $120 for a high quality figure and in all honesty think the GB line needs that treatment. I personally didn't like how the 12" came out, even up close as a friend had the full set loose, I think that put me off more if anything.

For $120 I wouldn't quite expect hot toys quality, but better facial likenesses, more realistic fitting outfits and some added prop detail would be a huge difference maker for me.

I'm really excited about this release. And I think it looks great in the box too - it complements the GBI Winston with trap.
