Wow….I just made a mistake. I decided to treat myself to a Winston slimeblower figure, money is a little tight, but i've been careful this month so thought why not! Got to the page with the shipping selection and was clicking about, the price never altered regardless of selection. Clicked to complete the order placement, reached the order complete screen to see a $45 shipping charge for a $20 figure. I am gutted.

Sure, I obviously selected the method but surely the price should be reflected before the orders complete, not after rather than stating $9.95 whatever? I would've chosen the $9.95 option! From looking at the help section there doesn't seem to be much I can do due to the “automated” process. sad

Woo Hoo. Just got my figures. Love them! This is the Slime Blower figure we've been waiting for.

EDIT: And y'all are right - I thought part of the sub was supposed to be that the figures would be shipped several days before they go on sale to the public. So far - they've only been able to do that for the January figure. Both March and June weren't shipped until sale day for me.

Got my shipping confirmation a couple of hours ago. I think that's the quickest the confirmation's arrived from Mattel.

Matty seems to have forgotten me. Again. At least they're consistant. Every $%#^ing time I have to remind them I have a subscription. This $#!+ is getting old.

Got my shipping confirmation today. Can't wait for this figure, it looks like it might be the best one yet.

The figure itself still has (at least up to Vince Clortho) the branded box, but the branded box is now shipped in a padded envelope.
I have neighbors upstairs that seem to enjoy damaging my mail (never actually caught them in the act but I know they did it), so this should be interesting…

Winston arrived just fine; somehow I was billed, but never got a confirmation email.

@Kingpin: My Winston came in a box, rather than envelope. Perhaps the envelope was either a one-off or just for months there's a “Bonus” fig in the mix.

@Dreamstalker: Create a dummy package, something that LOOKS like it came in the mail. Leave it where your neighbor it sure to encounter it. Cover it with something that will stain or irritate skin; or rig it to fall apart when he picks it up, spilling something vile on his shoes. (These suggestions are for entertainment purposes only and are not actually recommended – though they'd be funny as hell to watch.)
