any of you guy planning of renewing?


for me it depends, what figure is the exclusive, because even though MMray was this years it was kind of cool, but not as cool as we saw it a year ago. I hope next year's figures are better. at least a vigo or a terror dog.

I don't imagine Vigo or a Terror Dog will be the Club Ecto-1 exclusive for this year, I expect a varient of an existing figure to be the club figure for 2011.

I don't think they'll ever convince me to sign up for the subscription. The first exclusive figure was a joke and i've heard nothing but complaints from those that did sign up.

I'll be disappointed if they release an actual GOOD figure for next year's exclusive, but the bad just outweighs the good at this point. As Kingpin says, they'll most likely just release a variant of a figure already out. Venkman with a few dots of liquid paper, anyone?

I think a good collection just needs a few good pieces, if you get everything including all varients it sarts to just look like a mess.

If I knew then what I know now I would of just got the clean figures and not bothered with any variants.

I will only get unique and new characters from now on.

The exclusive will just be a variant with an accessory that you may want like Ray's goggles and walkie talkie.

If the exclusive is like this years then it will be more than easy to get of eBay and not much more than what it will be on the site.

I agree with this to a large extent and it is the reason I will not get a subscription. I certainatley don't need any variants like the exclusive Ray and if I had been more patient I would also have skipped the slimed versions and had the regualr versions. Instead, I skipped the non-slimed as I couldn't justify having two so similar and already owned slimed. The draw back there is I missed out on Venkmans proton stream and Spenglers PKE .

I don't mind buying doubles so much if they do full re-releases like the Slimeblower Winston or like the “street clothes” figures lsuch a the courtroom and labcoat figures. I don't have a real set rule like only buying unique characters but the figure must be different enough to justify having it, not an almost exact re-release with a new accessory and modified paint job. I like to see what's coming out and decide so a subscription wouldn't work for me.

Once again you won't catch me complaining about this line. Do variants suck? Well of course they do… but it doesn't mean I don't want to have them.

I mean I like the slimed Venkman that they did; the Slimed Egon was the most confusing to me… but honestly we've been getting some solid figures out of this line recently; and despite what people say about MM Ray; I really like him now that I have him.

Truth is I'm enjoying the ride like I've said before. There's no telling when this line will end; and more importantly; there's no guarantee that another company is going to pick up the GB license to make figs once we stop getting these ones. So with that in mind I'm going to be happy that I'm getting these now… it's been a long time to wait.

It doesn't bother me if they make variants, it is great for those like you Durst who want to have them it will just be the reason I don't get a subscription. I can't afford to buy 6 of the same character with different colour markings, i'm better off saving the money on variant release months so I can have the next unique figure instead.

About last week of July I think as Matty say they will have left over Stay Pufts for sale on the site on 1st August.
