That's OK then, it's not just me! I can appreciate that it probably wasn't meant to be the actor due to his passing away and the likeness issues but it is still quite a way off the painting I thought. I'm still pleased to see a Vigo released either way!

I think it resembles him well enough. Not perfect, but I mean….look at Ray. Could be worse.

My only “complaint” is the color of his hair. Why is it gray? It's been a while since I've seen GBII, but I remember him being blonde…

Other than that minor detail, I think he looks fantastic.

I think the hair could be a big part as to why it looks off to me and the eyes seem very dark. Vigo the man was blond(ish) for sure but I guess with the tarnished look of the painting it's a more dull color and was perhaps the reference?

Either way, it's not such a poor likeness it will put me off buying, I've been looking forward to some new “bad guys” since I now have a couple of each of the main guys!

Agreed Jay, and with the Library ghost, Subway ghost and taxi-cab ghost to come we'll have quite a nice selection!

The terror dogs are still my most wanted though, kind of wish I kept the Neca versions. Will there be further GB1 releases do people expect or has the focus shifted?

Exactly my point. Between Neca, DST, and Mattel we have had SO MANY Slimers and Stay Pufts it's not funny anymore

I'm not even getting Mattel's squishy 2 ft Stay Puft, I'm happy with my DST Bank.

While some of the ghosts we've gotten aren't the most ideal (Scoleri Bros with usless flying feet), I'm just happy to see them!

Though this is also why I love the minimates line, so many different ghosts all ready released from the movies with more awesome ones from the cartoon on the way.

I wasn't interested in Courtroom Venkman so skipped that figure. Nunzio didn't come with a flying stand but had “flying feet”? What a jip…

Vigo will come with the skull and stone stand, but not the painting backdrop.

I hope Vigo comes with the rock and skulls stand and painting, something like McFarlane did with that “The Crow” figure released some years ago.
