I know it's just a prototype, but has anyone heard whether or not Dana can be set in different poses? It looks more like a statue with only the sitting position.

sorta….you can remove the top half from the sitting-posed legs, where if you look you see a joint there around her waist, and reconnect it to an extra, standing lower half that also comes with the figure…

NOW,the real question is,will it,even when standing, have any meaningful articulation? the top half, other than the head, appears to have none,as the shirt appears to be sculpted over the arms,so it looks like no arm articulation….and if the skirt is the same way, you'll have no leg articulation….so,probably at best, you'll get an articulated head and waist….

can i dare say it….dare DREAM it?

can Mattel ACTUALLY be starting to listen to us,and give us an actual, comprehensive GB line?

going over the list,so far:

GB1:

Peter (GB outfit)
Ray (GB outfit)
Egon (GB outfit)
Winston (GB outfit)
Dana/Zuul
Louis/ Vinz Clortho
Walter Peck
Slimer
Librarian Ghost
Taxi Cab Ghost
Subway Ghost
Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man
Peter (Ready to Believe You)
Ray ( Ready to Believe You)
Egon (Ready to Believe You)
Peter (Slimed)
Ray (Marshmallow Mess)
Egon (Slimed)

GB2:

Peter (Dark GB2 outfit)
Ray (Dark GB2 outfit)
Egon (Dark GB2 outfit)
Winston (Dark GB2 outit)
Vigo The Carpathian
Slimer
Nunzio Scoleri Ghost
Theatre Ghost
Courtroom Peter
Slimeblower Ray
Slimeblower Winston

….honestly,i give Mattel a LOT of shit on the GB line….but, looking at it in this context,of what has come, and what is still to come,i can look at my collection with happiness now, because i see it really has started to become quite comprehensive, and really, the only figures left that i'd want them to make are:

GB1:

Gozer
Terror Dog Zuul
Terror Dog Vinz
Janine
“Old Lady” Librarian Ghost

GB2:

Courtroom Ray
Courtroom Egon
Dana with Oscar
Janosz
Janine
“Ghostbuster” Louis
Jogger Ghost
Tony Scoleri Ghost

so while GB2 still has a lot of work to go,i'm almost completely happy with the GB1 lineup…and i swear i hear that, after the first 2 figures for 2012,the remaining 4 will concentrate on GB2….

I think they will get more money if they release better figures because they know that we are not gonna keep buying variant unless they much different that other variants.

in a little note, anyone wants to donate a slimeblower winston's head, I know some of you guy bought two to put rays head, so if someone has an extra head PM me.

well,we're getting to the point where there aren't many actual variants of the Boys left…..but hopefully that means we'll get more “new” figures as we move along through 2012….

but,if indeed it is true that the remaining 4 figures in 2012 after Peter and Zuul are,in fact from GB2,i'd be willing to lay money down that 2 of them will be Courtroom Egon and Ray,with one of them having the other Scoleri Brother….

The trap looks awesome and I'll definitely be picking up a couple of those. And while the Rookie figure looks pretty cool(first 6" figure to carry a trap on his belt!), I just haven't got the interest to shell out all the money for a Club Ecto-1 subscription; I'd much rather save up in hopes of an eventual 1:1 Proton pack. smile

Just to be clear, do you mean you don't have the interest in purchasing every figure? Because the subscription doesn't cost any more than it would to order each figure individually the day of sale.

I figure that's what you meant, but just wanted to clarify.

Plus you can sell off whatever figures you didn't wish to keep.

Well, I managed to not watch any of the trap vids..dial up's mixed blessing.
But I have heard three different prices for this wonderful piece:
1)$120; 2) $135; 3)$155
I am reluctant to worry over the estimated prices #2 and#3 as Mattel hasn't sold anything that's not an even number(at least not that I've seen/bought).
The only reason I'm stressing is I have to start putting my coins aside right away..and I'll probably go with the target price of $130 so that when October comes, shipping won't blindside me. All I have heard about the functionality of this trap is like a dream come true, even though part of me wants to wait and experience it hands-on.(All those years of Do Not Open Until Dec. 25th as a child probably is the source of my strength.)
So if anyone has heard speculative pricing on a unit that probably make it onto the Matty web page for another month or more…

Nobody knows for sure, but Mattel mentioned both 120 and 135. So just aim for the higher of the two and you should be fine. They should have the official price on their site pretty soon.
