According to Mattycollector.com's response to a question on his Facebook page…

“12” Ray will be on sale 10/15, as will the 6“ Ray. I guess it will be ”Ray Day!“”

So looks like we have a bit of time to wait and save up for these. Frankly, it sucks that its that long in between figures, but at the same time, it will save on shipping.

Doesn't the back of Egon's box say that one of the Rays is due in September? (I could be remembering wrong - I'm at work). If so, I wonder what the new delay is for.

Yes, the box does say 12" Ray in September. Not sure why the reason for the delay, but I guess there must be a reason.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

The Egon sales shouldn't affect the Ray figure this late in the game. If the Ray figure were going on sale next month it would've been in production before last week. Its not like they were waiting for the Egon figure to sell out to start producing them.

well, there's another ray for sale on ebay. Gonna be pissed if this one is hard to get come october.

but how do you guys know that the figures are not in production? just because people are selling stolen 6' rays doesn't mean that the 12' one aren't boxed and ready to ship next month.

There's nothing that prooves they are yet, either. These could be advance mockups, things they use for events like the conventions and trade shows to garner more interest.

I REALLY hope they make an accessory pack or something for this line that comes with a few ghosts or what not and attachable stream like the minimatess. I still gotta have streams!

Or when they sell solo ghosts, say like the Library or Taxi Ghosts, etc, they each come with a stream fit for use on them, I think that would be a great idea Mattel!!!
