Wow… people are nuts. For the prices these two are going for the buyers could be buying 5 Ray's when he actually goes on sale in 2 months… or they could buy 2 6“ Ray's, and 1 12” Ray.

yeah, some people are special. I guess money isn't really an issue with some collectors or just so darn impatient. I wish I could get my hands on that Ray now but no way i would pay that kind of money.

Did anyone ever see what the Ray auction ended on? I was watching it, just out of curiosity for how high it would get. When I went to check the final price today, it was no longer listed in my “watch” list and when I tried the link from this thread I got the generic:

Did anyone ever see what the Ray auction ended on? I was watching it, just out of curiosity for how high it would get. When I went to check the final price today, it was no longer listed in my “watch” list and when I tried the link from this thread I got the generic:
I was watching that one too…just to see how psychotic the winner was…and it disappeared from my “watched” section of Ebay too. Perhaps the law finally caught up with the guilty party..and charged the other with receiving stolen property.
Or not.

Are you sure that's the same auction? I remember the description simply reading RARE and I think the user name was different.

On another note, this eBay user, heta77777 has sold 3 Ray Stantz figures. One for $120, and two for $90, all within the last week.

Edit: GhstbstrLMLIII stated the item number for the auction and it is different from the heta77777 auctions. Maybe this guy did get caught???

might be different but i havent seen any go for more than 120 , but i do know the law did not shut down an auction , he might have gotten a good offer and ended it off of ebay
