I am determined to learn how to make those, I really wnated to do a pose with my egon with some photoshopped streams. I'll have to serach for some more tutorials and see if I can figure out where i'm goign wrong with the neon glow of the layers.

Anywa, do we have any diea about when the Rays are expected yet? If not an exact date are we anticipating the start, middle or end of october?

If you're asking what is the difference between the 12“ and 6”… well first obviously, the size. Second, the price. 6“ figures are $20. 12” figures are $60.

On top of that, the 12“ figures have cloth uniforms, and are more doll like, and they also come with light-up packs. The 6” figures are more like action figures, and do not feature light-up packs.

Oh yes, the blobs of light are essential to the beam man…otherwise it looks…wrong

Oct. 15th is close to my birthday, so I'll use any cash gifts towards both 6“ and 12” Ray. I was only gonna put the $$ out for one 12“(which would have been Ray)-but light-up proton packs on the 12” ones? Now I gotta get ‘em all! Now All I gotta do is find out what time on the 15th so I don’t sit here from 12:01AM to whenever they go on sale…and how to create an account! Yes big thanks Dr V, I had no idea we had a date for these already! It's a thursday so will have to buy them at work, depending on the time they go live of course.

Kingpin, a beam tutorial would be excellent. I looked at a previous thread which you had some input in with the beams but I just can't get it to work, it just turns the original yellow line green. I do alot of graphics work in my job role using paint shop pro 7 and X but these beams are causing me a real headache! Although I use the software I'm not sure if there's a big difference between paint shop and photo shop. Anyway, sorry I keep going off subject.

I'm debating getting the neca terror dogs, but don't want to overspend if mattel have plans of doing any. I assume, even if they do, they won't be until after the main releases so could be a heck of a wait, in which case I may get the neca figures.

Also, is the scale of the slimer packaged with egon more movie accurate than the neca figure? The neca figure looks great with all the detail, other than been opaque, but I'm guessing it's quite large?

I really am more excited about colelcting this movie line than I was as a kid about the real GB line (although i'm glad I kept all of that, just wish it was in better condition, they were played with on a daily basis =P ).

I figured as much. So I take it slimer wasn't scaled to the rest of that Neca series either?

I'm happy with the mattel Egon version either way, was just curious really. Anythings better than the slimer that came with the ertl ecto model!

I'll leave slimer and find the vinz and zuul terrordogs…..hopefully.

that's something I love about the box, it's “resealable” lol, so if I ever decide to store (*egon) & :-) I can just put 'em back in the box

I know, but I don´t wanna cut the plastic strings who attaches the figure to the box… but I see you´re having a great time… now I´m thinking seriously on take it out the box.
