Right, that's it. I'm springing for these figures no matter what, because Mattel's new ghost-trap design will make my photonovel so much easier. It means I can FINALLY do the physical effect and not have to worry about how well you can see the laser triangle I currently use.

I'm hoping with the reception of Egon being a sell out that Mattel may go back to production on him later on. Like how their gonna bring back the sold out He-Man figures on mattycollector.com. I'd like to get these some day. It just wasn't a big deal for me right at the moment to get Egon first thing. I'm sure I'm not the only one that missed out on Egon on these boards.
I hope they'll release the non-slimed Egon. Other than that, I hope I can catch 6" Ray first

Its been said a few times in this thread, but this has become a massive thread.
No, they are not available in stores.
They are only available on Mattycollector.com.
If the line gets popular enough (or if there's a new movie), Mattel might be able to put the figures in stores. Basically, this comes down to the big chains (Target, Walmart, etc.) having limited shelf space, and not wanting to use it on anything but guaranteed sellers (Batman, Transformers, etc.)

Yeah it has gotten to be a big thread. Online only, that is sad but understandable. I went to Toys R Us and there is a section of obscure figures, Twilight, WOW, etc I hoped some GB stuff would be there. Mattycollector.com it is then!

They have but $60 for the 12 inch was a shock. The detail is worth it, I hope they keep the stock going so near Xmas I can get a couple.

I really wouldn't count on that. If you want them as Xmas gifts, it would be wise to ask for them now, so that people can order them now. Mattycollector.com rarely ends up with huge stock that lasts for months. The longest items last in their popular lines is a few days to a week at the most.
