Didn't get hit with Customs from the Egon action figure. Customs from my experience targets random packages. The only downside I've experienced with Matty Collector is the long shipping time. They packaged the figure in the box nice and secure though which is a plus.

I was encouraged to order “something inexpensive” to open my Mattycollector.com account so i bought a $10 figure…with an $8.70 shipping pricetag. I placed the order 10/3 and it shipped 10/5. I would call the 877-GOMATTY and ask about those fees…they seem to know what's what when asked a question. Hope this helps…and Man am I hoping the Ray figures ship as fast as my “Something Inexpensive” did!(*ray)

Shipping costs leads me to another question (and apologies if any of this stuff has been covered in previous pages), how much extra should I expect?

I paid $8.95 shipping. All fees in US funds and with our dollar a few cents short of parity with the US dollar it's not much of a problem. I'm just thankful we're not buying them at the time when the dollar was .60 cents several years ago. Though with the dollar yo-yo-ing it makes buying things like comic books interesting.

Shipping for me, took almost the full window Matty lists on the website. There's no tracking number provided for those outside of the US.

Has anyone tried to update their credit card info on the site recently? I've been trying for 2 days and all I get is an error message saying “Your data could not be saved; please try again later”.

I'm wondering if placing a cheap order would be a workaround.

Geez like I wasn't nervous enough about my order going thru…anyway it took me weeks with customer service and tech support to learn that a “small purchase” opens an account on MAttycollector.com. I couldn't even enter my email address-where I was receiving MAtty's emails!-until I plunked down some coin. My suggestion is: order the Anti-Monitor figure. It's only ten bucks, but watch out for shipping: $8.70. But I ordered it on a Sat. and it shipped the following Monday. I got it about five days later via UPS.. and I know I've said this before, but…when in doubt, call the customer service dept. They are actually knowledgeable about the order process and kind to boot! Hope this helps…now If I can just make it to Thursday at high noon…(*ray)(*ray)

I guess I'm the only one who doesn't see a problem with entering your credit card information when you order?

Relax guys. You don't need to have your payment information saved in order to place an order.
