So if things run similar to last time it should take 3 or 4 weeks before I see my Rays here in the UK.

So, another thing just hit me. Obviously they can't ship everything immediately. Like the confirmation emails, they will probably just que and be handled in the order they were received. Since matty releases all of their new figures at the exact same time, there are (I'm assuming) hundreds of orders placed today. I just wonder how that will factor into shipping as well. If you were ordering within the first couple of hours, but there are already so many orders ahead of you, your order might not be processed for a couple of days. Dang…longer wait to get our figs. haha.

I got my shipping confirmation 3 days later and my Egon arrived exactly 20 days later.

I got both the 6 and 12 versions.

Just ordered 2 of each Ray Stantz figure (6“ and 12”). I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on them!

I wonder how long it will take for MattyCollector to sell out. I wouldn't be surprised if 6" Ray was gone by week's end.

None of Mattel's Ghostbusters figures will be in retail stores.

They said they probably would if there's a 3rd movie, but none of the Movie Masters will be in stores.

How long does it take for them to arive? Im hoping a week, not a month but you never know. This is my first time ordering from matty and 60 bucks, while yes i can part with it, is a big chunk of change. I mean i could have gotten uncharted 2 for that money but im hoping this pays off .

I wanted to get both the big and small rays, but honestly with egon sold out it looks dumb having just ray. Maby when all 4 6'' figures are out ill buy them as a pack if its under 100 bucks but i just cant imagin investing in them now since its not gurenteed they will re launch the egon figures!

What my goal is…is to get all 4 of the 12 inch figures. Figure it starts off my 12 inch movie figure collection. Maby as i get more established with my money and make a bit more ill move on to some of the hot toys style figures which are amazingly well done, but in no way justified spending close to 200 bucks per figure.

I figure 60 bucks for a 12 inch movie replica figure such as ray, is a fair asking price. Remember, we're not talking childrens play figures here, these are marketed at collectors and fans..so naturally there market is limited and they have to profit on these toys

Just cant wait till it arives. If im pleased with this one, with no doubt ill be sure to get the rest of the guys asap!

It really is all very exciting. I can't wait to have Ray and have the 2 6“ figures standing next to each other.

Although, I have to say ”good luck“ trying to find all 4 of the 6” figures for under $100 once they all come out. You're going to be looking at some pretty rare numbers by then, and you're only allowing for a $5 increase per figure (which the Egon figure still typically lands in the $35-40 range on the secondary market, eBay).

I'd say you'd be better off getting Ray now, and getting the others when they first come out. Then you'd only be looking at $20 for each of the ones as they come out, and you could afford to spend $40 on Egon (or even wait for the supposed unslimed Egon), and you'd still only spend $100.

But trying to wait, and get all of them on the secondary market for under $100 will not work, mark my words.
