Whos using their summer to make a proton pack or other prop?

This is my summer to start and make my proton pack. Im almost done with my uniform/flightsuit so Im hoping to start my proton pack tomorrow maybe.

I am, and I am using every moment of it. Right now as I type this, my Proton Gun is out drying. I hope to get my Cyclo, and N-Filter materials bought today, and start out making them. Hopefully I'll finish it this year.

I hope to soon start building. Me and a friend are going to work on it together. We'll have a few for our new franchise. And we're planning on using resin cast pieces and vacuforming to save time anf effort, plus money.

I got into building one in November, Did all the reseach and started building, but then I got busy. I plan on finishing it this summer. It should be done before October. I work at a Haunted house, we spend August doing construction so I should have all the tools at my disposal to finish.

I've been working on a slimeblower, I just bought some airduct tubing today for the main tank. I'll have to find something for the domes, maybe rubber balls…

I didnt get out of school until around the 14th of June so Im about 40% into summer at this point. I still got time though. Its gonna be an undetaking of biblical proportions but I think I can get it done before Halloween which is my goal. Im not doin all to much this summer. Nothing to structured at least except working. How long did it take others to build their proton packs.

I've been working on it for almost exactly one year. But if you are good, like some of the guys at ASAP.. like Volguus, Got Maul, and some others.. you can whip out a pack in a week or two.

current status: Trying to find money for disappearing budget. Trying to order parts and products. Trying to juggle time between this and organic chemistry.

I am using some money from my summer job to build a proton pack and costume. I wish it would stop raining so I could go out and work on it.
