We are forgetting one major fact. Winston is the hired help. Granted he deserved a bigger role, but we can't change that now.

the point, again, im trying to make is, Winston deserves to be treated with a certin amount of respect, but isnt because hes the hired blue collar, and i believe thats discriminating in a way.

I agree that at times he's underrated, but remember this: He did more ghost related business in GB2 than Peter did. While Peter was wining & dining Dana, Winston was swimming in the river of slime with Ray and Egon, playing at birthday parties, etc. Yes, he was hired help for the guys at first, but he did become part of team. He and Ray are the ones who really do the leg work while Egon experiments with stuff and Peter tags along when needed. So I understand your point, but I think you'll see that he is used and valued more than you think if you look closer, he and Ray do the most field work.

One more thing I thought of. Winston does have some really killer lines, just not as much as Murray or Aykroyd who are more of natural comedians.
“I've seen shit that'll turn you WHITE.”
“Sorry. . .I missed it”
“It's always the quiet ones”
“We just went for a swim in it ”
“Tell him about the twinkie”
“As long as there's a steady paycheck involved, I'll believe anything you say”
and of course
“I love this town!”
etc..
So they are there, and most of us know them right off the bat, I quote them occassionaly, so don't fret my friend.

You guys need to understand that Winston was hired by Ray, Egon, and Peter. They are Winstons bosses. Winston is just like Janine but actually helps the ghostbusters instead of answering their phone. Don't get me wrong though, I love him as much as anyother ghostbuster…I can't stand when people refer to the ghostbusters as Peter, Ray, Egon, and “the black guy”. (There was an episode of Golden Girls where they badmouthed Ghostbusters but (only) liked Winston…)
