Would original props be used?

If GB3 is made, what would they do about the original props? The Proton Packs are in Planet Hollywoods all over America, The Ecto-1a has been sold USF, The P.K.E. Meter has been altered for use in other movies and is bad condition, The Hook & Ladder 8 in New York has changed quite a bit, and the someone said the Firehouse in LA has had the poles removed, and God only knows what has happened to all the other props.

The would probably build new packs like they did for GBII. And if they used the “Hellbent” script….they would have both the ecto-1 and 1a in the movie. So in short….they would make new props.

They made new packs for GBII? Why? I thought the only packs that were made were 4 packs w/ batteries and lights, and 4 stunt packs which were made from rubber, and that they were all used in both movies

I think that they were the same packs, but they were cleaned up a little for the second movie.

No Daryl, theyre different packs.

I guess they just needed to have new ones… Look at the packs in both movies…you can see slight differences like the crank nob(different colors).

If they used a flashback sequence in the movie or did an intro where the old props were outdated and weren't doing a good enough job catching ghosts, then they would have to update the technology. But, I seriously hope that they don't go the way of EGB and make some tacky looking hunk of junk proton pack. I don't mind the EGB ghost traps, but the packs in the new cartoon weren't that great.
