As much fun as it seems, I probably would not take the job.

While money isn't everything, living a lifestyle that hovers around the poverty line isn't much fun either.

I think it'd be the “cool” thing when you're 18-22. But then you get to a point in your life where you should be shooting for more than the bare minimum.

Of coruse I take a job as a ghostbuster! i'm getting paid to bust ghosts. The cool parts about it is that I get mention in tv,the newspapers and i get to use all of those ghostbusting gear.

And you get to tear up the place, like the Video Game's trailer says:

"Strap on a proton pack, and get ready to destroy the world–I mean, save the world."

Yes, I would be a Ghostbuster for nothing, because I could still make money on advertisments and A deal for a TV show.

Well played…..

Sometimes I wonder how long it would be “fun.”

The long hours, the low pay, at some point that would take it's toll.

I LOVE hockey, but when you work within the sport, that feeling does start to wear off. And I was making nowhere near minimum wage.

True, especially if one doesn't have extra money squirreled away to cover shortfalls.

However, the way I see it, it would be something that overall I'd enjoy doing, so why not? I'd bet that like any other job you wouldn't stay at minimum wage forever.

I also wonder if the experience would be more like RGB or more like Ghostbusters II where everyone was always waiting to sue you or make their name off of you.

Knowing people today (ridiculous lawsuits etc), probably a bit of the latter.

In the 80's I don't think the concept of frivolous lawsuit had been discovered by the masses yet though.
